- NOTES: This is a dual NAM mobile or transportable unit.
- The ESN prefix is 136 decimal & 88 hex.

- NAM PROGRAMING:
-
- 1. This unit requires a programing adaptor, part number EB-W0134, if you
- do not have one try one of the following:
-
- If the phone has a transportable pack with a charged battery you can jump
- pins 2 and 3 of the power connector with a paper clip or tweezers. With
- the transceiver right side up (rubber feet on the bottom) look at the power
- connector, pin 2 is bottom right, and pin 3 is top center. In the
- following diagram the X marks the top of the connector where the plastic
- clip on the power cord is:

- Ignore any numbers stamped on the connector and remember this shows the
- power connector looking at the transceiver, or wire side of the power cord.

- If the phone does not have a transportable pack you can remove the plastic
- cap from the power cord and jump pins 2 and 3 as above.

- 2. Turn power on with pins 2 and 3 jumpered.
-
- 3. Enter * 0 0 0 0 #, phone will display "0", you are now in maintenance
- mode.
-
- 4. Enter * 1 SND for NAM 1, or * 2 SND for NAM 2. Phone will display "1"
- or "2". Note that NAM 2 has entries 01 through 06 only.

- 5. Each data entry can be looked at by pressing RCL followed by the
- location (step) number below.
-
- 6. To store new data enter the value, press STO followed by the location
- (step) number below. For example to enter a system ID of 00031 enter
- 00031 STO 01. Data can be entered or reviewed in any order.

- 7. At any time press STO * * to complete programing and return to
- maintenance mode.
-
- 8. At any time press STO # # to ABORT programing and return to maintenance
- mode.
-
- 9. Press * 4 SND to exit maintenance mode.

- READING ESN FROM HANDSET:

- 1. Power up phone with pins 2 and 3 jumpered as above.

- 2. Enter * 0 0 0 0 #.

- 3. Press * 3 SND.

- 4. Press 1 1 SND, phone will display decimal ESN, note that the leading
- "1" of the 136 ESN prefix will be omitted as the phone only has a ten
- digit display capacity.

- LOCK: F 3 2 = Dial Lock, F 3 1 = Send lock, F 3 0 = Full lock
-
- UNLOCK: Enter two to four digit code.

- A/B SYSTEM SELECT:
-
- 1. Phone will default to preferred/non-preferred on every power up.

- 2. A only: F 7 2
-
- 3. B only: F 7 3
-
- 4. Home only: F 7 4
